Spring is in bloom and it’s time to get your bling on! There are a lot of cool trends you will see hitting the streets for this season. Here are a few of the top trends that were showing up on major runways from the top designers for 2016.
All that Glitters is Gold
Look out for a little glitz up top this season. Designers have flaunted their impressive masterpieces for the spring 2016 season. Here is an example of the headwear you will see this season from Saint Laurent
Two things to note in this look from Miu Miu: a glittery headpiece and an hombre lip. Yes, look for these trends this season and indulge in your inner dark princess.
This asymmetrical headpiece by Rodarte is stunning and fit for royalty. Plus, the matching earrings take a stunning head accessory to another level for your spring look.
Rocker Chains
There was certainly a common theme of rocker chic on the runways for the spring 2016 season and accessories certainly followed suit. Alexander Wang showed off this beautiful, chunky chain necklace among his accessory designs in his spring runway collection.
Also in the accessory line from Alexander Wang were these complementary earrings.
Then, there was this futuristic beauty from Chanel that also had a rocker vibe. Are you ready for the after party?
And, this deadly Baroque look from Alexander McQueen says heavy rocker like just about nothing else. I’m just loving the texture layers here.
To go with this rockstar theme, there were a lot of mismatching and asymmetrical earring examples on the runway. Here is an example from Celine. Will you be bold enough to mix-and-match some of your favorite bling for spring?
Ring Bling Combo
There are many times when jewelry gets combined into a 2-for-1. If you’ve been wondering where the rings fall in the spring fashion trends, look no further. Here is an example of a ring-bracelet piece from Valentino. And, to follow in some of the ethnic/tribal trends we saw on the runway, I’m really loving the giraffe detail in this piece.
This is another stunning example of combo bling from Rodarte.
Flower Children
Of course, there were a lot of throwback looks to the 70’s era, but this is a flower child trend of a whole other color. We saw a lot of floral bling on the runway and here are a few of my favorites. Calvin Klein offered a very delicate bangle that followed a few different themes common among the designers for this season.
Dolce & Gabbana had a floral piece that really stood out on the runway with a very traditional, Hispanic inspiration.
Gucci also had flower accessories front and center on some of their hot spring looks.
Carolina Hererra offered these unusual white dangle stems for her spring line.
And, finally, here is a chic floral piece from Tory Burch.
Well, the weather is warming and the flowers are literally blooming, so here’s to some of Spring’s best looks!
