Whether you are simply looking to add a fresh coat of paint to liven up a room, or do a complete overhaul of your master bath, we all have that one thing in our home we would like to change.
For me, it was my floors.
Having lived in my home for almost 5 years, I have updated some of the smaller projects when I had the time and finances available. However, I have been wanting to redo my floors for a few years. I knew it would be costly, so I searched high and low for the “perfect” flooring and finally set aside the time and resources to conquer the task. I shopped the best prices and installers (which was overwhelming to say the least) and when I made my final decision, the flooring I had chosen was discontinued and there was not enough in stock to cover the job. Not forgetting to mention, the installers had received a commercial job and were not going to be available anytime soon. Frustrated and back to square one, I took that as a sign and put the floors on the back burner.
A few months later, I was watching television and saw a commercial for 50Floor. I figured “why not?” and proceeded to call and set up a free in-home consultation. From what I gathered, they brought everything to me and from then on, it would be smooth sailing!
John came out the next day with samples in tow and explained all my options, the installation process, pricing, etc… He answered all of my questions and I was very pleased with the meeting. I knew the look I wanted and after reviewing numerous samples, I made my final decision. John ordered my flooring and we set up the installation date. Easy Peasy!
Two days later my flooring arrived and I received a call to confirm the installation. Vito and his team showed up on time the next morning to begin the process. He explained everything to me in detail and they began moving my furniture and covering the walls and doorways to prevent excess dust from floating into the other rooms.
During that time Vito brought in my flooring and placed a few pieces on the ground for me to see. I stared at it for a minute or two and said…”nope”. Without missing a beat, Vito said,” Not a problem, let me make a call and see what we can do”. A few minutes later I received a call from Joseph, the installation coordinator, assuring me this was a non-issue and that it happens all the time. (Now, I am sure it doesn’t, but he was kind enough to make me feel as though it does.) He told me he reached out to John and he will be contacting me shortly. John called me and I explained to him that it was my fault and that I went with the wrong choice. He proceeded to come back to my home (on his day off) and provided me with more samples. I was lucky enough to pick one that was in stock, so we were able to stay on track! Demo started and I said goodbye to my old floors…

It was a 3 day process and the only issue we (notice how I said “we”…like I have a mouse in my pocket!) had was my indecisiveness when it came to the flooring. Vito and his team were professional, on time, considerate and hard working. I am beyond pleased with the job they did and for making this transformation much easier than I ever thought it could be.
After the installation was complete I received a call from Amber asking if I was pleased with my experience. I gave her a definitive “Yes!”.
She then asked if I would please go to their Facebook page and make a comment. I know this is a tad more than a comment, however, I feel they deserve this applause due to the company as a whole, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to update their home ~
