This is a very easy appetizer or party food to make and won’t take you more than 10 minutes to prepare!

1 package of cream cheese

1 hot sausage (3 oz.) – finely diced

2 spring onions – chopped

Salt & Pepper

4 slices of dried apricots

2 table spoons of finely chopped walnuts

Crackers of your choice

Fig chutney (optional)

Leave the cream cheese at a room temperature before making this appetizer, so it is soft. Chop the sausage and onions and mix into the cream cheese. Add salt and pepper to your liking. Cut the apricot slices and walnuts into very small pieces and mix them together. Form a ball out of the cream cheese mixture and roll it in the pieces of apricots and nuts until the whole ball is covered with it. Serve with your favorite crackers or add salami, pepperoncini peppers or perhaps some fig chutney…
